This is actually from yesterday, but I loved it and had to post. Its a family blowing bubbles in the sunset waiting for the lantern lighting ceremony to start.

Went out again tonight. There was an amazing sunset, which was unusual for this side of the island, but I wasn't able to catch it because I left my SD card at home. But I ran back and got one and managed to almost catch it :)

So I'm trying to take long exposures at twilight of the ocean to get this misty effect. I still haven't perfected it yet, but I'm getting closer :)

With some of the pictures I took of the moon last night I noticed the long exposure of the waves crashing on the rocks made an interesting picture. Thought I'd test it out tonight and see if I could get it to work. Love the way they look! I'm amazed with the long exposures how it still captures the colors even though it was practically dark. This is on the rocky side of Kailua Beach.

Day 125 - Finals

Sorry for such a lack of daily photos. Its been finals month for me and that means a lot of paper writing, presentations and finals due. Ill try and get back on board this coming week.
